Arizona Tourism Industry Strategic Recovery Plan
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) has developed a Tourism Strategic Recovery Plan to accelerate the recovery of travel and tourism throughout the state over the next 12-18 months. While AOT acknowledges the many challenges that lie ahead, far too much is at stake to stand idle and wait for an unknown future. Instead, AOT has made the stabilization and recovery of Arizona’s tourism economy its top priority. You can access the plan below.
Arizona Office of Tourism Strategic Plan
As the only public agency that promotes Arizona as a travel destination, the Arizona
Office of Tourism (AOT) is dedicated to developing, implementing and maintaining marketing programs that keep Arizona top-of-mind as a vibrant travel destination.
Tourism is the largest export-industry in Arizona, generating $25.6 billion of direct spending, $3.78 billion in local, state and federal taxes, and 194,300 jobs in 2019. In addition to the attraction of more visitors, an engaging and enjoyable travel experience can also be a critical first step in attracting new residents, entrepreneurs and businesses to move to Arizona.
AOT encourages you to take a few moments to review our current Strategic Plan.
