Arizona Office of Tourism Sponsorship Application

Thank you for your interest in working with the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT). AOT has limited resources to support events and activities that meet the state’s criteria for destination promotion and provide economic benefits to the residents we serve. 

Here are the minimum requirements that must be met to be considered eligible for a sponsorship:

• Only non-profit, 501(c)3 organizations, designated Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), or municipal/Tribal entities qualify.
• The event or promotion must have a direct partnership with other aligned local community organizations.
• The event must be able to demonstrate a direct return on the state's investment to ensure it is driving tourism and related economic opportunities to the local community.
• Applications must be sent in at least four months before the event.

Due to budget limitations, AOT does not guarantee support for events that meet the criteria, and will only consider those meeting the eligibility requirements.
