The Arizona Office of Tourism offers a number of programs to support American Indian Communities. Cultural heritage tourism, including the American Indian experience, has been an integral component of AOT's marketing efforts. Tribal entities are encouraged to take advantage of the services and resources available by participating in the Agency programs listed below.
Arizona Tribal Tourism Directory
The Arizona Tribal Tourism Directory provides a comprehensive list of Tribal attractions, recreational opportunities, lodging, events and tourism resources, and is designed for tour operators and travel agents. The directory has been created to serve as a marketing tool and resource for tourism industry representatives to help in creating innovative and exciting tour programs to Indian Country in Arizona.
“Train the Trainer” Tribal Tourism Development Seminar
The unique "Train-the-Trainer" format is designed to provide a core group of trainers with specifically developed curriculum comprised of a PowerPoint presentation, training manual and activity workbook. Material is developed to allow trainers the flexibility to further customize the program to meet the individual cultural needs of their community. Each trainer will receive a certificate of completion for their training.
Customer Service for Hospitality Workers
This seminar covers a wide range of topics and provides skills and materials needed to teach others in each Tribal community, including how to:

- Improve visitor services
