Arizona Office of Tourism Three-Year Strategic Plan
This Three-Year Strategic Plan is an internal guiding document to support the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) in prioritizing the creation of an Arizona travel experience that is beyond compare.
Arizona Office of Tourism One-Year Strategic Plan
As the only public agency that promotes Arizona as a travel destination, the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) is dedicated to developing, implementing, and maintaining marketing programs that keep Arizona top-of-mind as a vibrant travel destination.
AOT encourages you to take a few moments to review our current One-Year Strategic Plan.
Arizona Tourism Industry Strategic Recovery Plan
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) has developed a Tourism Strategic Recovery Plan to accelerate the recovery of travel and tourism throughout the state over the next 12-18 months. While AOT acknowledges the many challenges that lie ahead, far too much is at stake to stand idle and wait for an unknown future. Instead, AOT has made the stabilization and recovery of Arizona’s tourism economy its top priority. You can access the plan below.

AOT Stewardship Roadmap
Building upon our three-year strategic plan, we’ve drafted this stewardship roadmap for the Arizona tourism industry. We’ve focused our efforts on the next five years and beyond. While the Arizona Office of Tourism will act as the convener of the tactics, it is our hope that this will continue to build and grow with collaboration from stakeholders at the local, state and national levels.
Arizona Sustainability Program
As tourism continues to grow and expand, the Arizona Office of Tourism wants to ensure that tourism is marketed and managed properly. To assist with this, the Arizona Sustainability Proposal sets the foundation, expectation and pillars of sustainability efforts to ensure tourism in Arizona thrives for years to come.
